When I started doing #grateful100 on Instagram I was in a semi negative head space. I had a hard time seeing the good in the days because things in my life were just not going my way. I still have 16 days left to post and I am excited about every single one. I am starting to feel the results of dedicating 100 days to finding something I’m grateful for.
Every morning I wake up and am aware to be on the look out for moments I am feeling grateful throughout my day. Yesterday was the same as always but as I rested during a lull between a very busy morning and an equally busy evening to come, I had a dilemma. I couldn’t pick just one picture to represent such an amazing day.
I mentioned to my mom that this vacation has been near perfect. It was a mix of being busy with family but also getting myself organized. The perfect little staycation.
As I looked through a new teaching book from family in New Jersey, I was yet again left at the same place. Which picture do I pick? Then it occurred to me, I felt exceptionally grateful because everything I wanted to share happened with someone I love. I felt grateful for a loved ones in my life and getting to share memories with them. So, my decision for my Instagram: well, you will just have to check it out and see but in the meantime here are some highlights from yesterday:
