Happy Friday! This week flew by! For some reason the last few weeks in the Cape manage to fly by as a much faster rate than the earlier ones do. It seems unfair in a way. I don’t want them to go away. I want them to stay forever. I will be so sad once the summer is actually over, but I know a part of me is looking forward to seeing my friends. One of my good friends has been abroad the entire spring semester and when I get back will be the first time I’m actually seeing her in weeks. It seems unreal. I don’t quite understand where college has gone but all of these back to school posts are gearing me up for my senior year. I think these bloggers’ advice is spot on and I love every single one. Which piece of advice is your favorite?
Lifestyle:
From A Dash of South: http://www.adashofsouth.com/2014/08/what-to-pack-for-college/
I Love that she talks about what you should bring and what you most definitely don’t need. Packing for college is impossible and you always overpack your first year. You might say it won’t happen, but it does. Her advice is spot on. The First Aid kit will be a life saver (and a money saver)! I, like her, never see girls in heels, ever.
From Kayla’s Five Things: http://kaylasfivethings.wordpress.com/2014/07/29/5-pandora-stations-to-try/
I am obsessed with Pandora. Obsessed. I have never tried these stations before but now I really want to! Pandora is where I discover new songs to fall in love with and there is something exciting about the constantly changing songs. They are different but still similar.
Health/Beauty:
From No Nonsense Nutritionist: http://www.nononsensenutritionist.com/featurefriday/healthy-eating-budget/
This is a great post! Her advice is so true and while it’s harder for me personally to shop cheap on a gluten free and mostly organic food diet, these tips are food shopping gold for college students. I love making lists and I know when I go into a store without a list, I am screwed. I am echoing what she said in her post, but be smart and thoughtful about what you buy. Wasting food is the worst feeling in the world!
Random Ones I Loved:
From Class and Sass: http://shesgotclassandsass.blogspot.com/2014/08/writing-untold-story.html
If I spent time telling you what I loved about this post, I would be here forever. Instead, I am going to say it in two sentences. Her words are beyond powerful and could not be more true. Writing is the only way to express how you are feeling in the most vulnerable way and that is what makes it so beautiful. Thank you for this amazing post, I was really moved.
From Livin and Lovin: http://www.livinandlovin.com/2013/08/making-your-dorm-room-pinteresting.html
I love these decoration ideas! I never thought of hanging my cell phone cases on a cork board! That is so smart since I have so many and they are all sitting in a drawer. For some reason I never thought of the Mason jars as pen and pencil holders. It is so smart and I think that is one thing I do want to try. As of now they are all sitting in a drawer organizer and impossible to sort through.
From Hello Felecia: http://www.hellofelecia.com/college-advice-time-management/
These time management tips are spot on. Time management is the one thing I struggled with throughout college and I talk about the importance of it still. Setting free time aside is a genius idea and I love the App she mentions, now to see if I can get it for an iPhone.

Always looking for new pandora stations to list to while I’m at work… this is a helpful list!
Aww thank you so much for featuring my dorm post in your list! I hope that the cell phone display and mason jar pen holders help you organize and decorate your space :]
This is great! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Haaaa I just wrote a post about Pinterest…such a time sucker! Loving each and every one of these posts, funny that I read a bunch of them on my own too.
